  • Submitted to the Academy Awards for consideration of the 1969 "Best Short" Oscar, but didn't get nominated
  • Like a lot of DFE material of the era, this cartoon's plot is based heavily off previous WB cartoons such as the Ralph Wolf & Sam Sheepdog or Tweety Bird shorts; however, it also takes inspiration from the Tom & Jerry series such as "The Bodyguard" (1944).
