Milestones

  • The last of the Pink Panther theatrical shorts until the series' return in 1971.
  • One of the few times in the Pink Panther series in which Henry Mancini's main theme is not heard throughout the cartoon, with studio composer Doug Goodwin filling in.

Trivia

  • According to Greg Ford's commentary, Doug Goodwin's music was composed precisely for this one cartoon. The track would eventually be reused in sequential theatrical shorts and TV shows produced by DFE.
