The IAD is in financial trouble. Please read here.
I was watching the "House of Mouse" a few days ago which featured the duo's older cartoons. When Two Chips and a Miss came on I was overjoyed. I sat and watched with no distractions, as it brought back some memories.
When Chip stood in front of the mirror gazing at how sharp he looks in a suit I expected him to say "You gay dog"... Other than this minor annoyance the cartoon was for the most part intact, right up to the romantic end. Damn you Disney for being conservative!
My only hope is to get the Chip and Dale shorts DVD and PRAY that they keep what was there in the first place.
I too, like so many others, love the music from this particular episode. I have searched for the lyrics on Google and Yahoo, but with little luck.
"Just one glance at you meant love from the start, and oh what a thrill came into my heart."
"Little girl, your the one girl for me. Little girl, your as sweet as can be. Just a glance at you meant love from the start, and oh what a thrill came into my heart. Little guys, with your cute little ways, I am yours, for the rest of my days."
I wish that before Walt Disney died they could have made another show with the boys fighting over the same girl and have it to where one of them finally would win her love. Plus this is the only show that shows "The Acorn Club" It would have been something if Chip or Dale would have gotten marred to that singer.
