“Colorama”: The Futurama crew are in a pastiche of early 1930s “rubberhose” cartoons. Professor Farnsworth needs powder from a diamondium comet to clean his doomsday bomb, while Fry wishes to break off part of the (presumed indestructible) comet to put in a ring and give to Leela.
“Future Challenge 3000”: The characters are in an early 1980s video game. Professor Farnsworth uses a lens made out of diamondium to look at the fundamental structure of the universe, but becomes depressed once he discovers that there are no more questions left to answer.
“Action Delivery Force”: In a pastiche of early dubs of Japanese animation, a species of aliens who communicate by dancing worship the diamondium comet and become enraged when it is destroyed. After being defeated by the aliens, the Action Delivery Force tries to make peace with them by communicating via dance.
