From littlefrank103 :

This cartoon is pretty decent, at least as far as cartoons from DIC goes. The animation is somewhat stylized but perhaps kind of limiting, and the voice acting is kind of mediocre. But as far as adaptations go, it's pretty decent, because after I had recently read the book, I think the small changes they made kind of helped the story. The book focuses more on a nameless Time Traveler, having his curiosity propel the story of his discoveries in the future, rather than this cartoon, which is about saving someone from the future. The cartoon is not that particularly exciting to cover the run time, and it would probably be better suited being an episode TV-Series about Tom hopping through time to find his Dad. Or Perhaps that may be too similar to Quantum Leap 1989 Overall though, I think it's decent enough to watch it on YouTube.
