From Baruch Weiss :

Next to Motor Mania this car toon would be a big hit in drivers ed, because it teaches how the nut's fun behind the wheel will come to a crashing end if he/she is not careful. I saw once in high school (I took drivers ed there) a disturbing video of a boy who was at a party and at the end was drunk. A friend offered to drive him home, but the boy refused the offer and crashed into a tree. In my opinion, this cartoon was okay, but weren't the 1950's late for cartoons to still be containing humanized objects?

From dm :

I guess some things haven't changed since the 50s. Normal people get in their cars, turn the key and turn into maniacs.

From Bryan Hensley :

It's been years since I saw this short at all. I remember that it seemed to be based from Susie, The Little Blue Coupe 5 years earlier. Of course, I'm talking about the cars on trial; such as Lizzie, the nervous car. There's also a snazzy sports car, and an old jalopy with his windshield (or eye) broken. This entire short is a good reason why I never wanna drive real cars, aside from Global Warming; all sorts of nutcases are at the wheel causing mayhem, trouble, and even death to themselves and other people! In the end, it's not the cars' fault that people are suffering from their injuries, it's the people operating them that causes the problems! I find this short guilty, of being an inspiration to stay safe on the road. If this short is online for us to see, I'm sure you'll enjoy this automobile trial of 1957.
