Synopsis
A thespian dog is tired of degrading himself to slapstick so he quits his job at Warner Bros. to pursue a career of Shakespeare. When he goes home to practice, he discovers his home has been invaded by the Goofy Gophers and after kicking them out, the gophers decide to have a little fun with him.

This cartoon, written for Arthur Davis's unit, was finished under McKimson due to the disbanding of the former. Emery Hawkins and Bill Melendez, both of whom had been animators for Davis, moved over to McKimson's unit.
