Ya can't go wrong with this dopey, yet fun loving bear! He's been one of my favorites since I was a wee one. I am disappointed to say I haven't been able to find any videos or DVD's with him on 'em. I would really like to get a compilation video/DVD of him.

Humphrey is my favorite Disney character. I was in Disneyworld for my honeymoon three weeks ago and looked everywhere for Humphrey items but found nothing. I have been looking for a video with him on it for years and can't find anything. This is a shame since he is one of the funniest characters Disney ever created.

I enjoy this Donald Duck/Humphrey the Bear cartoon very well. It's hunting season and Humphrey seeks refuge in Donald Duck's hunting lodge, but must pretend to be his bearskin rug in order to stay. Although the animation and background art of this short is rather limited, the humor makes up for it.

This is a funny short - Humphrey disguises himself as Donald's rug. My favorite parts are when he comes out of the washing machine, and at the old rug at the end. That ending cracks me up every time.

I hope Disney releases this cartoon on DVD soon, my brother and I still talk about it to this day and we had last seen it over 10 years ago. One of the funniest I have ever seen.

It's a shame that Humphrey came at a time when Disney was losing interest in their shorts because then Humphrey would have been a better known character. In this short he certainly is and is funny especially in the ending where another "Rugged Bear" comes out and asks "Is the coast clear pal?" Then as he goes out of Donald's Cabin he says to Humphrey "Thanks a million buddy!" then Humphrey does his silly laugh then the cartoon closes!

Warner Bros. had a cartoon similar to this in 1961 called "What's My Lion?" with Elmer Fudd and a lion. Donald doesn't even have bad luck in this cartoon.

Humphrey the Bear is a really hilarious character, and this is one of his finest performances. The two scenes that really cracked me up were when Donald breaks the nuts in his mouth, and the very end scene. Just a funny cartoon all around.
