Cut Scenes
- Due to changes within the FTC in a post Columbine Massacre world, the filmmakers were pressured to make edits to the film or Kids WB could not advertise the film. Noticeable cuts include reanimating the Joker's death in the flashbacks, lessening the amount of punches, decreasing explosion sizes, and softening character deaths. Two years after its initial home video release, an uncensored version would retain all cut scenes in a "PG-13 Edit".
- 14 minutes of animation from TMS were cut from the film to shorten the film to a 70 minute length.
