Trivia

  • Tex Avery's first completed cartoon for MGM although it would be released as his second cartoon for the studio following Blitz Wolf.
  • The movie promoted on the billboard ("Mrs. Minimum") is a parody of the 1942 MGM film "Mrs. Miniver" which was released the same year as this cartoon.
  • In the original 1942 release, the opening MGM title cards started with the "Tiger Rag" gag. It was similar to the one seen in Tex Avery's Blitz Wolf; however, in the reissue this was removed with the more standardized Scott Bradley opening cues.
