  • This episode allowed visitors on Cartoon Network.com decide who should win the race (Mac or Bloo). Voting began on the site May 19th, 2008 by way of playing the game “Big Shot Checkers” game which would help determine who should win and ran until the day the episode aired.
  • The alternate ending was shown on the Cartoon Network website from May 30 through June 9. The ending is identical the broadcast ending (the ending that won) with exception of some alternative dialogue.
  • The episode's title is probably a parody of the title to Peanuts movie "Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown".
