- Homer's mention that Barney's birthday is "April 20th, same as Hitler's" was redubbed following the Columbine massacre on April 20, 1999 (to make things worse, FOX reran the episode that very day). The line was changed to "July 15th, same as Lassie's" for further network reruns, international airings and the DVD release, while the original line is intact on syndication prints.
