From Lee Suggs :

I've never been too impressed, with these gag cartoons, but this one is quite good. Minnie does a circus act, with her orchestra, culminating in her putting her head in a very lion like tuba. All is well until the tuba escapes and goes after the other instruments. Minnie must save them all, and get that tuba locked up. Since this is a short short all this happens at light speed, and is quite well carried out.

From Juan F. Lara :

What is the name of the music this short was done to? Darn, it sounded familiar, but I couldn't remember the name. This time the instrument were playing roles, as circus animals. But the plot still seemed unremarkable. The horn "lions" looked so bizarre. Maybe they shouldn't have been drawn with those "eyes". This short had a lot more sound effects than usual, but that badly clashed with the music, messing up the timing. The short also had pricier artwork with lots of shading, in big contrast with the rest of the ep. But the plot's so slight that the shading just looked gaudy.
