- Most of the "pink outs" would later serve as interstitial bumpers on TV's "The Pink Panther Show".
- According to the commentary track, Art Leonardi drew the storyboards hoping he would be able to direct Pink Outs. When he handed the storyboards to Friz Freleng, he instead tasked Gerry Chinuqy for directing duties not knowing of Leonardi's request.
