Trivia

  • Most of the "pink outs" would later serve as interstitial bumpers on TV's "The Pink Panther Show".
  • According to the commentary track, Art Leonardi drew the storyboards hoping he would be able to direct Pink Outs. When he handed the storyboards to Friz Freleng, he instead tasked Gerry Chinuqy for directing duties not knowing of Leonardi's request.

From Justin Delbert :

WOW....I am impressed. This has got to be the best Pink Panther cartoon I've ever seen. I'm not a major fan of The Pink Panther, with a few exceptions I always say you've seen one Pink Panther you've pretty much seen them all, but damn....this one's good. No plot, just a bunch of cartoon antics. Just exactly how it should be for this kind of character. I also see why a make good was done on the Blu-rays because of the laugh track....it works better without one so you can laugh on what you think is funny.
