Cut Scenes

  • In the theatrical release, the ending was cut and replaced. Originally, Dodgers arrests Marvin and has him tied up in a straitjacket. Marvin still in the jacket proceeds to launch a missile to the earth, warning the audience that the missile will hit their homes in about three days. This deleted gives more reason behind the "That's All Folks!" joke that ends the cartoon in the print.

Milestones

  • This was the first Daffy and Porky cartoon released and created since their last Golden Age pairing in 1965.

Trivia

  • The cartoon was originally part of the 1980 television special, "Daffy Duck's Thanks-for-Giving", to which it was plucked and edited into its own theatrical release.
  • Submitted to the Academy for consideration of "Best Short Subject", but did not get nominated
