From Bob Mitchell :

Casey Bat's Again had it's television debut on January 6th, 1963. It was part of a program entitled "Three Tall Tales" which also featured The Saga of Windwagon Smith and Paul Bunyan. The show was hosted by Ludwig Von Drake with his sidekick Herman. This was one of the better Von Drake episodes on Disney's Sunday Night TV show. Anyway, I give this short an 8, but only in its "Three Tall Tales" version narrated by Paul Frees as the Vieneese Von Drake who has swallowed an Irish dialect pill.

From Ryan :

This sequel to the earlier Casey at the Bat used in Make Mine Music is a true classic. It starts off where the first one left off with Casey on the baseball diamond crying, when his wife comes toward him and whispers to him of the new bundle they're expecting. When the baby is born, Casey is overjoyed, but it takes quite awhile for him to discover that it's a girl instead of a boy. Despite the limited animation, I really enjoy the humor of this cartoon.

From John :

First saw it on the "Melody Time" DVD and enjoyed every second of it, one of my most favorite shorts. I really want to get "Make Mine Music" just to see the first short in the series.
