From Steve Blackwell :

I had this on a 45rpm record as a child and loved it. It was great reading the lyrics again although my wife wanted to know what I was singing. The Andrew Sisters sounded great and I can remember it like it was yesterday.

From Crissy Atkinson :

This one is so cute. I watched the Disney Channel a lot as a child. I'm 30 now, and I know the words to this, along with many, many others, beginning to end. I really enjoy watching these shorts with my children, who always seem to be surprised I know all the words, because to them it's kinda new. It strikes up conversation, they usually say, "mommy you watched this when you were a kid?" all wide eyed!

From Natasha :

I love this short and wish that they would show it more often. This and Peter and the Wolf. Much love for the shorts.

From Baruch Weiss :

The Andrew Sisters sure did a nice job singing about 'Little Toot.'

From Grace :

This is the best short from " Melody Time." The animation is excellent, especially the music and the lyrics, plus The Andrew Sisters is the perfect voices for this song! I give this a 10!

From Katherine Karsten :

This is my all time favorite, childhood memory. Living near the ocean, I find myself singing these lyrics quite frequently. I think that I had the 'album' in the BIG 10" record. I remember it, as it was yesterday.

From Angela Tatman :

I purchased Melody Time actually for myself more so out of nostalgia. I loved Disney cartoons growing up. Now, I have a two year old that loves them just as much as I did, and by far he loves watching Little Toot and Pecos Bill. It's just so cute how he "toot-toot's" to the song. This just proves how talented Disney is, that a movie that was from 1948 can be passed down from generation to generation. Thanks for all the past, present, and future memories!
