Trivia
- Later remade in CinemaScope as "Millionaire Droopy."
- Bill Thompson was originally going to return to voice Droopy (and just after his war service), but due to a scheduling conflict, he was unable to. Tex Avery asked Daws Butler to fill for the voice, but in turn, Daws recommended to him Don Messick (who he met at a radio school 2 years prior) who would voice him for the short. Messick would later voice Droopy again in "The Chump Champ" and then again 40 years later in "Tom and Jerry Kids", "Tom and Jerry: The Movie", and "Droopy, Master Detective".
