Trivia

  • Billy West, Richard Horvitz and Mark Hamill auditioned for the role of Zim. While Billy West would get the job for the pilot, the role would inevitably go to Richard Horvitz due to West's other commitments.
  • According to the DVD commentary track, Billy West had a hard time matching Mark Hamill's energy while recording his lines, which would also be one of the reasons he would not continue the role.
