Regarding the theatrical cartoons from the East Coast, such as Terrytoons and the Paramount stuff, the MPAA/MPPDA approval certificate numbers for these tend to be very far apart from the West Coast shorts. Why is that?
e.g. MPPDA cert numbers from some cartoons from 1945
