On a whim today I decided to go through the Cylinder Archive at USCB, where I unexpectedly found something I doubt a lot of 'toon fans are aware of: an actual recording of J.F. Barth's march piece "Frat," frequently used by Carl Stalling in Warner Bros. cartoons. If you don't recognize the name, there's little doubt you'll recognize the melody. Consider this to be a bit of an early Xmas present from me to all of you.

Nice! The version I have is from the album "Carnival Cuties", and it's a wurlitzer arrangement. It's on iTunes.
