Boomerang have already changed a lot within the past few years, which I felt it already have rebranded with modern programs and less of the classics/older cartoons.

There's a "Garfield Show" marathon, which is already on about eight times a day.

Just took a quick look, only to come upon an awful promo for [tom] and [jerry]. What is with the horrendous prints in that commercial?

Wish I could say it's a video effect, but yeah why do they look like they're in 16mm

As for the bumpers, they seem like they were designed to represent their "sister" network Cartoon Network's general look. Also, why is the announcer for the bumpers a child?

By the way, more bumpers!

They look like what was shown on CN here in 2000, but longer. It's probably a remix of several TJ adverts before the restorations started. (I definitely remember the "What's wrong with that crazy cat?" bit)
Same goes for Scooby-Doo.

A "Merry Melodies" bit from "The Looney Tunes Show", "which was "Grilled Cheese" with Elmer Fudd, aired as filler after Tom & Jerry.

Ahh, I remember when Boomerang used to air classic shorts as filler between shows. I haven't had Boomerang in a while, so I wonder if they're going to bring that back. (I hope they air the classics as filler again.)

for the modern stuff on Boomerang, if "Numb Chucks" is any indication - We will see nothing but garbage and no quality toons like Geronimo Stilton and Mr. Bean The Animated Series

I doubt it will, but I will agree with you.

I do have plans to make at least a new series of 4 to 5 min. H-B reboots for Boomerang when I work at WB in the future. I did a topic on it, so read more about my idea here .

Never heard of Numb Chucks or Geronimo Stilton.

New Boomerang reminds me of a mix of Cartoonito and Cartoon Network Too.

I knew this would happen, we will miss the old school Boomerang. The only classic (and old school) cartoons and shows remaining on the channel are [tom] & [jerry] , Scooby Doo, Where Are You?, Looney Tunes, The Powerpuff Girls, The Flintstones, and The Smurfs. Yeah, only 6.

Only if I wish Kids WB would also be a 24-hour channel (showcasing only classic and old school show featuring the well know characters WB Animation has) besides a website.

They still have the old Boomerang logo here, but it's pretty much new Boomerang anyway.

Don't get too comfortable, your Boomerang rebrand could happen at any time.

I'm from England. I guess they have to re-dub the child in the intros with someone else.

By February 2nd, "The Flintstones" replaces "Pink Panther and Pals" 11:00 AM Eastern/8:00 AM Pacific slot according to the Zap2it schedule. Though the backdoor schedule is blank. If true, it's good to see "The Flintstones" on a daytime slot, even temporarily.

Strangely the TV Guide listings have an older schedule from October from several years ago when Boomerang aired "The Munsters" and "The Addams Family".

I literally just gained access to Boomerang after all these years, and my own prophecy about the event came true. By the time I got Boomerang it had been ruined and turned into mostly garbage. For reasons I don't entirely understand every single cable network that I've ever liked has to follow a predictable and irresistible trajectory from "cool" to "suck". Why is it so freaking hard just to have classic cartoons on the air? I can't say they NEVER make any new cartoons that are good, but for the most part you can toss them all in a bag and leave them out by the curb where they belong.
