He's back folks... and given the short description he's going to be in the new Pine Mountain Club studios! Here we go:

"Jerry's back for his first visit of 2022, and he'll be reviewing the latest animated feature films being released to both theaters and streaming, he'll showcase new books, discuss new titles for home video and also screen three classic cartoons from his archives. Plus we'll read your e-mails, and we need those no later than Friday, March 18."

Should be exciting! Note that Arnold Leibovit, who was supposed to be on the January 26 show, was pushed back to a later date.

Today is the day to watch this show that was recorded over the weekend, show lasts a little over 3 hours and 20 minutes. The VIPs already know what was discussed on the show since they get the show early but I'm not going to spoil the outcome until the show airs at 4pm Pacific Time.

And here we go!

Zoomio audience in full display as they're giving up their Saturday afternoon after trying to get the people in the studio to applaud as the show is now shot on the weekend for the most part.

Jerry Beck is in the new Pine Mountain Club studio - yay!

Looks like Stu's Show will come back for next season (and Jerry Beck as well) but in a different format - exactly what we know is not known but the VIPs are certainly on board for anything that comes around it this upcoming fall.

Now plugging Jerry Beck's upcoming appearances in April/upcoming months.

Glad to hear the Buzzy Boop at the Concert print is in mint condition, and that Honest Love and True will be officially reunited with the soundtrack that exists. Still wondering what the source is

Now showing some feature films after giving predictions on which animation content could win at The Oscars (Academy Awards), once again seeing Turning Red for those who missed it.

The whole list of upcoming films and/or those that have been released can be found at this link below:

Books and streaming content coming up next with one book already done - and it looks like the content on Netflix has impressed Stu despite price hikes at that streaming service.

Stu has cancelled Disney+ however...

Home video is on the way next - and this is where we're all going to know what's coming out and if there are going to be complaints about little things like the last show.

Just looked the numbers up for Disney+ = 42.9 million subscribers times 7.99/month comes to $342,771,000 per month. However given the number of subscribers is an estimate, that amount is within the margin of error.

And yes, Stu and Jerry did about half of what is going to be discussed with Steve and Wes on the next show in two weeks time.

Okay, here's what I can tell you about home video news from the Warner side of things (and I'll give the gist of it):

-No word on if Warner Home Video/Warner Archives will celebrate its 80th anniversary, doesn't look like it (Update: Not the studio celebrating the 80th, but the characters themselves)
-Everything is being put on hold due to the Warner-Discovery merger that's expected to close by the second quarter of 2022 (Jerry Beck will return in August, exact date is unknown)
-Projects are in the works in various stages but waiting on merger
-George being back, he's working on live action features, TCM, HBO Max, home video
-Warner has deadlines they must follow, Steve Stanchfield and Thunderbean do not have a deadline set, once it comes out it comes out

Basically what Jerry has said in the past is out of context now and had gotten in trouble before.

However... Jerry pushed ideas to MeTV to try and get cartoons from various studios and surprisingly the response was that MeTV listened and took his ideas. Maybe that might push all those cartoons to Blu-ray, who knows?

Cartoon Corner now as we speak.

You mean 100th anniversary? :/

Glad to hear I'll be saving 40 bucks on a Tweety Set that would probably have that funko pop to mark up the price and miss the opportunity to add some key Sylvesters

They said 80th from what I know based on the e-mails they got (they were sent in prior to the recording of the Saturday show).

This show will be in the archives on audio and video PPV for those who want to catch it again soon.

80th anniversary of Tweety and other characters, not the studio itself.

Okay, I see - so the characters and the studio are separate things altogether. E-mails will be coming up soon (again this was taped, so those that were submitted prior to the recording or the zoomio audience that submitted them in during the live session will be counted).

Hopefully the next time when Jerry returns we'll try to get some if not all of you on the live zoomio audience, you'd have to get a spot in first come, first served when there's limited spots available by sending Stu a request to get in and then you can e-mail during the show like it used to be in the live days of Chatsworth.

And yet live-action films are still coming along at a steady clip.

Warner always has some kind of reason or excuse to not put out animation. The merger is just one of them.

Here are the shorts that were on Jerry's "Cartoon Corner":

The Enchanted Square (Famous, 1947)

Funny Face (Ub Iwerks, 1933)

Davey Jones' Locker (Ub Iwerks, 1934)

Also, in addition to movie and Netflix trailers, Stu also showed an (edited) clip for "The Woody Woodpecker Show" where Lantz draws Woody" at the beginning and old commercials with some animated characters.

I'm pretty sure Funny Face was an SD master, but I can't remember right

The WB-Discovery merger is supposed to close in April. That's next month.

If they haven't restarted these so-called animation releases by August, we'll know certain people are jerking us around.

Why? They haven't promised anything. Also, are you aware of red tape being involved?

Nickramer, why do you have to be such a simp? It gets really old after a while?
