Complete or not (un-PC shorts may be absent), vol. 3 will certainly feature some of the wildest animation ever made. I like the remaining Avery shorts more than the overall selection from vol. 1 despite vol. 1 having some of the greatest (Red Hot Riding Hood, Dumb Hounded, Bad Luck Blackie...).
This time I'll stay away from reviews, to not be distracted when actually watching the cartoons - my experience in vol. 2 could have been much better if I weren't distracted trying to spot photoshopped titles and DVNR. However Thad's and others' reviews and feedback/criticism are entirely necessary because the distributor is a multi-billion dollar company. I guess reviewers should be more forgiving if the cartoons were being remastered by enthusiasts within a tight budget, but coming from Warner, excellent is the minimum we should demand. They could simply put out non-profitable releases if they wanted to, and that would be one less drop of water from their sea of revenue.
I always come to TTTP in Exile in the hope of finding news about Warner announcing Tex Avery Collection.
