In other words, this is a tweaking or manipulation of low res copies of SD transfers. "Restoration" refers to the workflow that occurs after a 2K or 4K scan is made from proper film print or negative materials, which serve as the basis of the restoration.

These so-called "restorations" look awful. Contrasty with some loss of background details. I give them two thumbs down.... way down. Boo! He needs to use actual good condition film prints not some vhs video masters from some piss poor transfers done 30 years ago.
