Speaking of which, when was the last time a Bosko short was seen on TV in the US? I know when Looney Tunes was showing on Nickelodeon, they would be showing Bosko cartoons at first, but they eventually got rid of them. But were they ever seen on Cartoon Network when they were airing Looney Tunes?

This is a milestone.

The first properly restored release of a Daffy+Speedy cartoon. They're getting into the good stuff!!
I always come to TTTP in Exile in the hope of finding news about Warner announcing Tex Avery Collection.

It looks like the 12th will provide a pretty good Valentines Day broadcast, including possibly a restoration of "Don't Look Now" which would be pretty neat. UserPostedImage

What I've heard is that it is was restored, but not HD (the I Love Tweety SD print). If MTGM recorded it I'd be interested in seeing a photo or two to get the idea straight

As a big 30s Avery guy, I can't wait to see that one restored! This is one that is just SCREAMING for a restoration, and I'm sure the film originally looked very colorful.

Saw this immediately somehow, what luck I guess. This month looks good for MeTV, I myself am excited to see Aqua Duck, I love that one!

Probably not deinterlaced at all, just converted from an interlaced master.

Muzzle Tough had some kind of frame interpolation which looked kinda ugly. In addition to that, the right track had the music/effects track mixed over the original track.

In any case, it was the version made for the VHS collection in 1998, not the master from 3 years later in the I Love Tweety DVD. They look pretty similar anyway.

I hope that they restore it properly in the near future, but what's going on at WB now may be preventing it to happen. We'll just wait and see what happens

Didn't see anyone else mention it but yesterday they aired Ah, Sweet Mouse-Story of Life for the second time since the block's premiere instead of Baby Butch, which they originally listed on their website's schedule.
