The Pink Panther Vol. 6 is being discussed and it will be out soon.

He's showing the UB IWERKS on the video version, courtesy of Steve Stansfield, wow.

WB Archives, more stuff will be coming but he won't mention it, but he is working on 2+ projects that are not Popeye related (he's giving a break on that).

One of the projects will come out in February and it will be in color, on television, classic animation. The other project will be related to the regular WB.

Blu-ray for sure but DVD we don't know for sure, announcement will be made within around January (mainstream company not sure yet).

And another hiatus for Popeye. He didn't indicate the the Blu-Rays sold poorly. Wonderful.

Classic cartoon features are now featured (3 of them as promised).

And with that brings the last show of the year (and even the decade though some will argue when it starts and ends) to a close.

I’m gonna say what I’m thinking - that was pretty bad. Sure, the actual meat of the show was great as usual, but yet ANOTHER “things are coming” announcement? I have an email from Jerry stating that he would announce titles by name this week, but of course, that never happened. Also, Stu got to find out what would be released this February, and he’s stated that “we’re all gonna enjoy it”. Yes, I’m sure we will. When he got a sneak peek on the new release in March, he said he was VERY happy, and that release turned out to be some Hanna Barbera stuff. With our luck, February will bring “Porky Pig 101: The Redrawn Prints”

Seriously, Hanna-Berbera fans want a Flintstones Blu-Ray set as much as we want another LT Blu-Ray set. And I have no reasons to be so damn bitter about that (although, I still doubt the Winstons ads will be included).

Sorry to double post, but for those who care, here's what was shown on "Jerry Beck's Cartoon Corner" segment:

Perils of Pearl Pureheart (Terrytoons, 1949) [mighty]

It's a Grand Old Nag (Republic, 1947)

Gifts From the Air (Columbia, 1937)

Well, we did the best we could but in any event the 137-minute show is up for download on the audio and video PPV demand and we got through it without any issues.

This is two weeks in a row where he has not taken e-mails due to time constraints and he would like to know if the show works without them or if e-mails should be kept in? To me I say keep them in just in case we have questions related to the topic or even things not in the notes (aka remaining status quo).

Is there really any other series it could possibly be apart from the MGM (Tex Avery) shorts?

I don't think anyone would expect Looney Tunes or Merry Melodies to be released as TV versions.

Here's some speculation:

1) Tex Avery shorts, as per DawnShadow's suggestion

2) LT/MM that have perhaps not aired or aired edited on TV for an eternity. (I know, that's a stretch by the definition we're now using.)

3) Some variation of an uncut Tom and Jerry Vol. 2?

4) Fleischer Popeye's, remastered from superior elements than the original DVD's, which I guess were from the "television masters"?

Any other guesses to add?

It's not Tex.

So much for "good, exciting stuff is happening".

So, the WHV proper release is most likely Tom and Jerry, and the WAC release is either Looney Tunes or Happy Harmonies. Though if Tex isn't happening, I really doubt it's the even-less-marketable MGM one-shots.

I must say, after all this hype this February release had better be the most amazing, colossal home video release of classic cartoons ever.
