You mean to say you have the first released edition of the set? With the redubbed audio?

How exactly does the voice sound different? Different accent? Different wording?

The difference between Randolph's voice and the redub that's on DVD is hardly noticeable; the latter is a very convincing facsimile of the former.

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

In the version I have to compare with in my files, Mammy's voice is somewhat deeper and a bit more exaggerated. So that has to be the original voice by Lillian Randolph. Vidale's voice is lighter and slightly toned down. Interesting; before having this discussion I had thought the differences would be more pronounced.

Yeah, we both definitely learned something. 😉 As for getting a version of this set with the uncensored films on it... I assume you are aware that Warner Home Video re-relased all three volumes  of the Spotlight Collection in 2017? While I don't know, I'd be very surprised if the re-packaging of Volume 2  DOESN'T use the revised, uncensored discs. Maybe someone here can confirm that.
