From Shout!'s Facebook just now!:

"Pink Panther fans will be happy to hear that soon we will release The Pink Panther: The Complete Cartoon Collection! Details are still in the works, but we can tell you that all 124 shorts are included plus 4 animated TV specials all complete with NEW HD transfers!"


A reply in the comments section stated the collection will be available on both Blu-ray and DVD and that the shorts will be in their original full screen ratio! 😃

FINALLY!! I've been eagerly awaiting the Blu-ray release of the Pink Panther cartoon series ever since they first announced the Kino DePatie-Freleng sets.

I'm definitely getting this on release.

Ironically this is no longer an April Fool's Day thread. All of the original Pink Panther shorts have been released on Blu-ray. (Though not by Shout! Factory.)

But you mention 4 prime time Pink Panther specials. I can only remember 3:

A Pink Christmas
Pink at First Sight
Olym-Pinks

What's the 4th one?

Probably the most recent one, A Very Pink Christmas (2011).

I had never even heard of that one. (And I still read TV Guide.)
