Hello All,

Technically speaking, while the new Cartoon Roots Blu-ray/DVD combo is solely a Cartoons On Film release, it has of course undergone major spiffying and building by our own Steve Stanchfield, using his Thunderbean magic. So I feel it's appropriate to have a talkback thread in the Thunderbean section about this release.

Looking forward to thoughts and comments from those of you who have obtained the set!

Hi Lynn,

Thanks! Looking forward to your thoughts on Roots.

As for TCM, I assume you mean the Bray program from this year? I definitely have to put out more than one set of Bray cartoons...not sure if there should be a first one that is a mixture of goodies, like the TCM program, or go right into themed or character/series/director sets. I wish I had the rights to the TCM program itself (taped intros, etc)...that would make a nice home video release on its own.

Best,
T

I'm assuming I should not be freaking out that it says there's only 1 available at Amazon, correct? If so IT'S MINE! BACK OFF, MAN!!!

Hahaha! Not to worry...since this is not packed and shipped by Amazon, it's listed as "1 available" because there's only one third-party seller offering it. Right now that's Thunderbean and soon it will be Cartoons On Film. There are still many copies available [felix]
