Walt Disney Records has just announced this morning a new compact disc that will feature more covers of their songs by today's pop artists, entitled "Disney Pop!" The thing is, many of the songs on this CD originated on "Mickey Mouse Disco" and "Mousercise!" Most are new covers, along with a few recycled ones. Tracks include...
"The Greatest Band" - Taylor Swift
"Welcome to Rio" - Train
"Zip-a-Dee Doo Dah" - Miley Cyrus
"Macho Duck" - One Direction
"Mousetrap" - Katy Perry
"Watch Out for Goofy" - Nico & Vinz
"It's a Small World" - Maroon 5
"I Wan'na Be Like You" - Sara Bareilles
"Bug-a-Boo" - Justin Timberlake
"Get the Money (Uncle Scrooge's Money)" - American Authors
"Ducks Dance Too" - Angela Eggleston
"Pig Out" - Alicia Keys
"Tweedledee and Tweedledum" - Avicii
"Step in Time" - OneRepublic
"Keep On Trying" - Kelly Clarkson
I'm not so sure about this. I like the original albums, but this is definitely not promising. I have to hear these artists at work all the time, and it makes me sick.
