From The Wrap , two seasons of Tiny Toons Looniversity have been greenlit for HBO Max and Cartoon Network. Warner Bros. Animation and Amblin Television are the companies producing the show. (Personally, I'm surprised by this news, because Hulu's Animaniacs reboot hasn't even been released yet.) The article does not specify when the series is planned to air.

Probably the buzz from the Hulu reboot could be the reason for the greenlight. Hopefully Freakazoid! makes a comeback.

I'm guessing the new staff are the type of fans that hate Elmyra. Which goes to my issue: why doesn't Sam bother to get any of the original staff to work on the reboots? Rugger must be pretty peeved about it.

I worry that Sam will greenlit an actual Wonder Woman animated series with Bruce Timm type designs but doesn't have either Timm or Paul Dini involved at all. Not even as executive producers!

P.S. Just to be clear, I would like a woman to run the series, but I want the DC animation masters involved too.

What "woman"?

A woman producer (which is logical and ideal for a strong super heroine).

I don't know. Maybe it'll be too high quality with these people.

I tried keeping a positive mindset with this but it feels like the more I see of it the cheaper it comes off. The animation is really lifeless, everything feels off

I still think that they should've gotten Tom Ruegger to help with this short. He helped create the original show.

I doubt Tom Ruegger will be coming back in any capacity, as I've been told there was some...mishandling of the original under his watch, but that's all I can say.

Popcorn's right. That and Warners does not want older folks in their projects. To them, it would mean paying them more compared to younger folks for what they would see as the exact same content. Not happening

Speaking of voice actors, does anyone know who will be replacing deceased voice actors Joe Alaskey, Don Messick and (possibly) June Foray?

They released a cast list back in June.

So it looks like they aren't using ANY of the original voice actors, not even Tress MacNeille. No Maurice LaMarche. No Frank Welker. (I don't know who did the voices of Merrie Melodie, Shirley DeLoon, Concord Condor and Sneezer. I think Rob Paulsen did the voice of Fowlmouth.)

According to the article you linked to, Cree Summer will be reprising her role as Elmyra. Hopefully that turns out to be true.

"Come back puppy! I have so much love to give!"
"I thought I heard an animal in here! What are you doing to him, you icky piggie?"
"Don't worry Mister Scaley Tailey. Auntie Elmyra will save you from the big fat smelly old PIG."
"Wake up Mister Hippety Hop!"
