Greg Ehrbar takes a look at the new DVD set  (Amazon) with notes from Gene and Jerry Beck, remastered to look a lot better than the TV prints, and clues us in on a little-known fact about T&J and... Disney?? [tom] [jerry]

Good review. I'm going to try to obtain a copy of this DVD set to add to my collection.

It looks like every [tom] & [jerry] theatrical cartoon is now available on DVD with the exception of two controversial ones.

I got it. The interview about this version helps put this oddball series in light.

Something I have to point out about this DVD set, the restored prints look a bit too dark IMO. It's very noticeable in Switchin Kitten, while the audio quality is very good.

Also, I had another thread with a possibly lost scene in Landing Stripling, because the soundtrack for that short in the DVD has mostly been sourced from the Turner print which cut the extra part to keep it in sync.
