Trivia

The basic plot of the cartoon is taken from the first ever Bugs and Elmer cartoon, "A Wild Hare"
The Pilgrim's Chorus horse scene was done in a previous Freleng cartoon, "Herr Meets Hare", which was also written by Mike Maltese.
"What's Opera, Doc?" parodies sequences from Fantasia, especially the opening scene which is a satire on the Night on Bald Mountain portion.
