A little background: in the late 1970s, a UK 8mm distributor called Collectors’ Club brought out a handful of b&w sound cartoons, the majority of which were Terrytoons. These may have been unlicensed dupes of the usual TV prints as they have replaced generic re-titles. I had a couple of prints come my way, one I’ve managed to ID (LESSONS FOR THE BIRDS = 1937’s SCHOOL BIRDS), the other (THE MAGIC LAMP) I’m drawing a blank at the moment. Linked a poor wall-shoot below, anyone want to hazard a guess at the original title?

I looked through the book "TerryToons The Story of Paul Terry an his classic cartoon factory" by W. Gerald Hamonic, Ph.D.

Paul Terry did the Aladdin story more than once (as well as the title)

Aladdin's Lamp 1931 early terry mice

Aladdin's Lamp 1935 is this it?

Aladdin's Lamp 1943 Gandy Goose

Aladdin's Lamp 1947 Mighty Mouse
