Here we go - both audio and video after the audio show is over. From the website:

"Jerry's first visit for 2017 promises to have lots of conversation and surprises! He's just back from attending the Oscars, and he'll be reporting on his experience...and just last week, he hosted a Fleischer cartoon restoration presentation for UCLA - he'll share his thoughts on that. He'll also provide his review of "The Batman Lego Movie" as well as comment on the upcoming live action adaptation of "Dumbo" being produced and directed by Tim Burton. We'll also discuss the big
news - the "Boomerang" network is finally beginning an online streaming service...what it actually is going to be and what it means for viewers, plus we'll have the latest news in print media and home video...AND AFTER THE AUDIO BROADCAST, WE'LL DO A BONUS TV BROADCAST FEATURING HAND-PICKED CARTOONS ALONG WITH JERRY'S EXCLUSIVE COMMENTARY, plus we'll read your e-mails!"

I strongly recommend you become a VIP Listener as the bonus TV broadcast will only be available to those listeners if you can't tune in live on television that night or want to catch it again.

Sent mine just moments ago - I think he'll definitely blow up on the Dumbo remake and the no original ideas again...

Paramount are planning to release their classic library one way or another (Youtube for example)

Jerry is trying to work on TerryToons!

An Animated Antic is being preserved before it's gone.

Interesting tidbit: Jerry notes Scott MacQueen at UCLA claims the negative for "Copy Cat" (1941) "is going", so it's up next for preservation apparently.

Iwerks TCM showing: early Disney, Thunderbean Flip, Willie and Comicolor restorations and "Merry Mannequins" from Sony.

Books: Stu's plug for Ray Pointer's Fleischer book and upcoming appearance on Stu's Show in May. Looking forward to the new Oswald book. The Ink and Paint Women book sounds intriguing as well.

Everything you fear is true about Boomerang's streaming service; A.A.P./Turner prints, unrestored shorts, and neither Jerry and George is involved.

Well that stinks.

Well, this is why is better to just stick with physical media.

Well people, you all heard Jerry Beck and Stu Shokus. The fate of the Tom and Jerry Golden Collection Volume 2 is on hands. Are you willing for Mouse Cleaning and Casanova Cat to be left off the set, if it means for the set to finally be released?

You decide.

You heard it hear first! Mr. Bug Goes to Town is coming to DVD and Blu-ray from...Thunderbean!!!

Also coming; Animated Commercials Volume 2, Fleischer Rarities, Aesop's Fables Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, and something Grotesque

New Warner Archive animation DVD coming out soon. We'll get new transfers, but the studio (Warner, MGM, Hanna-Barbera) is being kept secret. We'll know more in August.

Intriguing live-action sets coming from Thunderbean (Peck's Bad Boy, Hollywood Rarities, Dantini (?) the Magician, Tower of Screaming Virgins). On the animation side, mostly stuff that's been announced, though Cartoon Commercials Volume 2 and (the complete?) Aesop's Fables seem to be new.

Stu finally asks the burning question: Jerry Beck is not related to Jackson Beck (hah!).

Jerry's working with Warner Archives on a DVD. Can't say anymore until August it seems.

The 149 minute show is now available for download in the archives, and if you want to see the 52 minute video show again on demand, you'll have to become a VIP listener if you haven't already done so. Thanks to those who have - here is the link to become one:

People of the world,
If you want the "Tom & Jerry Golden Collection: Vol. 2" blu-ray (& dvd) to be released
with the cartoons "Mouse Cleaning", "Casanova Cat", & the uncut "His Mouse Friday" included,
Tell WB & WB's Legal Department (via mails, e-mails & etc) to let it be released that way
via "Warner Archive" or Turner's "TCM Vault Collection"!

Remember,
Never give up!

& another thing,
keep signing this petition!:

Have you learned nothing?
Warner Home VIdeo would still say no.
Cassanova Cat and Mouse Cleaning are still considered hot potatoes by the likes of the censored eleven

In place of the Cassanova Cat and Mouse Cleaning,
I recommend two unreleased MGM Tom and Jerry spinoff cartoon series Spike and Tyke

Give and Tyke 1957

Scat Cats 1957

I do wish that "Warner Archive" will create the "Yogi's Treasure Hunt" complete series dvd (& maybe blu-ray)
as a new addition to the "Hanna-Barbera Classic Collection (aka "Hanna-Barbera Golden Collection")" series.

Ruff and Reddy still has yet to have a official DVD release
It's one of the early TV cartoon series Hanna Barbera had done, while at Screen Gems in the late 1950's.

So where/how was this bonus TV broadcast... uh... broadcast? Was it really just a website showing it or was it broadcast on a TV channel?

I've been thinking about what the Warner Archive release could/should be. I've heard that it'll contain "some" double dips (I'd like to think the amount is small compared to how much there is, but "some" could be a little or a lot, but it actually doesn't say "all double dips") and new transfers (it doesn't say newly-remastered shorts). One of the first things I thought of was a release of the cartoons from the first two Looney Tunes Super Stars volumes, only in their proper aspect ratio (hey, the whole picture of each image of each short was remastered, and all they'd really need to do would be to create a new video transfer).

But what else could it be? I wondered if maybe it could be a special release of the earliest WB shorts, or even a black and white themed set (doesn't have to just be the pre-Porky Pig era, some B&W Porky and Daffy shorts could be included). Or perhaps a "Complete Bosko" set, wth the WB and MGM Bosko shorts (some of the Bosko cartoons have been released on DVD, which would account for some double dips, and it probably wouldn't do too well at retail).

Somebody commented at The Bugs Bunny Video Guide's Facebook page guessing it could be a set of post-1964 cartoons, since Jerry Beck supposedly mentioned Cool Cat and Merlin on the show (I wonder what led to him talking about them). Some post-1964 cartoons have been released, and it kind of seems like something that would be better for Warner Archive (especially if it leaves out Daffy, Speedy, and Road Runner).

A release of MGM one-shots and minor character shorts would be good as well. Several were remastered for the Academy Awards set, and many Tex Avery and Chuck Jones one-shots have been released as bonus features.

Not sure what kind of Hannah-Barberra release would be worth doing that includes double-dips (maybe a new Saturday Morning Collection?). Then again, I don't think it was said that this set would be an exciting release. It could be something of poor quality (in terms of content, not restoration-wise) or uninteresting. Or maybe even a release of the worst WB/MGM cartoons. Fans are wanting more cartoons remastered, how many of us would gladly accept a release of the worst/least-interesting shorts just to have more remastered (I know, he didn't exactly say it'd be remastered content)?

Another thought I've had: He said there'd be some double-dipping, but that doesn't mean it's stuff that has been remastered. He could have been referring to shorts that have only been released on DVD and Blu-ray as unrestored bonus features.

Another thing I thought would make for a good Warner Archive release would be a set of Looney Tunes television specials. Some have been released, many haven't, not sure whether Warner Bros. sees an importance in remastering these as a discs main program.
