Both items in the Mission District:

If you don't mind kids, the Roxie Cinema presents Popcorn for Breakfast, a monthly screening of vintage cartoons. May 14th screens Betty Boop, Popeye, Flip, Oswald, and other 30s musical cartoons. I don't know the format(s), but it's $8 and free for kiddies.

No kiddies allowed at the 4k restoration of Belladonna of Sadness, the kinky, psychedelic 1973 Japanimation (is it insulting to use that word?) cult curio. It's at the New Mission, a movie palace itself restored by Alamo Drafthouse. That probably means it's making the rounds of all the Drafthouses. It's playing through Thursday, May 12.
