A B&W print of some cartoon about a canary without titles. Anyone know the name of this 'toon?

wrong thread, My guess is that cartoon might be made by Columbia/Screen Gems.

Edit Sorry my guess was wrong Columbia had bluebird cartoons in their Color Rhapsodies
It is actually MGM Harmon/Ising's Happy Harmonies: The Discontented Canary

I got to see this on the big screen at the Tampa Theatre in 1996, as well as footage of Fontaine Fox interacting with the Skipper of the Toonerville Trolley.

As a tribute to Gene Wilder, here is one of the Hubleys' many "Letterman" segments for "The Electric Company" where Wilder voices the title character. Note that Wilder's "Producers" co-star, Zero Mostel, voices The Spellbinder:

Did you know that there were a series of black-and-white Smurfs shorts in the 1960s? Neither did I. Five of them were eventually compiled into a feature film. All three of these clips were recorded off a screen for some reason.

"De smurfen", 14 minutes long.

30-second clip from an unknown short, 1959.

"Le faux schtroumpf/De valse smurf", 1965.

Here is the Wikipedia article on the film.

Edited by user Sunday, September 4, 2016 1:34:22 PM(UTC)  | Reason: botched the Wikipedia URL! also fixed the third clip's title

Seven Arts titles on a redrawn Porky. By sheer coincidence, the "bouncing O's" are in perfect sync with Porky's "Th-Th-That's all Folks!".

A silent Aesop's Fable with Commonwealth titles without Farmer Alfalfa or mice for a change. Anyone know the original title of this cartoon?

Thanks a million, even though I have already seen these........

Was The Circus Comes to Clown's titles influenced by Dumbo?

Let's hope Thundebean does an official "Screen Songs" set with Paramount!

I love how the Woody credits mention the actual animators, BG artists, voice actors, etc. who worked on the Lantz cartoons.

Tribute post for Glenn Yarbrough 1930-2016 a folk singer.
For animation, his work can be found in Rankin/Bass' Tolkien Adaptations.
And has been parodied by South Park.

I remember that ending...outside of star Grace Stafford, other females aren't credited, nor were some other voices, still very good credits.
