After watching some episodes, I thought it was good. At least WBA got this right finally. However the animation and the sound effects are the only problems I have with this show.

The show keeps its ugly looking Looney Tunes Show animation from the previous Looney Tunes series, but my biggest complaint are the sound effects. Instead of using WB's trademark Looney Tunes sounds, it instead uses Hanna-Barbera sounds which are very VERY out of place in my opinion (I only except them to be heard in Hanna-Barbera knock-offs outside of the H-B cartoons). And it's due to WBA using Advantage Audio who are doing the sound effects in this show instead of DigiPost TV (in which they actually have the Looney Tunes sound effects including those not on the WB Sound Effects Library).

Since this show is continuing due to high ratings, I hope they will fix the sound effects by using mostly Looney Tunes sound effects for later seasons. They better switch to DigiPost TV or I'm emailing to WB.

Update: Guess what, Wiley207 told me on Facebook that the recent "Be Cool, Scooby Doo" doesn't use the Hanna-Barbera sounds unlike Wabbit. Seriously WB Animation?! That makes no sense!

Exactly why isn't Elmer going to make an appearance on the show?

Because you can't think of elmer fudd without his gun. and with recent massacres, the people were at WB were afraid. even if he is sometimes a hunter.

That's my guess.

Not every cartoon had Elmer using a gun to kill Bugs.

True, Elmer didn't always have a gun. But the gun is so iconic to Elmer Fudd, it even showed up in the AAP logo.

And since The Hunting Trilogy is popular for fans of Looney Tunes, they probably had no clue not all Bugs/Elmer cartoons were like that.

EDIT: Maybe I was over-analyzing it. It could be PC reasons, it could maybe just because they simply forgot Elmer Fudd for no reason or rhyme.

That would be silly. "Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated" had guns, even someone getting shot to death, and no controversy was stirred up about it. And Yosemite Sam fired guns in a few episodes of "Wabbit," too...

I have some news 4 U!
Wabbit is being broadcasted here in Brazil (and Latin America, too!) by Boomerang.

Why are the designs so sucky for Wabbit again? Are we supposed to believe that the current re-designs are more "timeless"? Honestly, I like Loontic's redesigns over these.

BTW, anyone else hate the Big Foot episodes?

Jerry did said on "Stu's Show" that "Wabbit" is getting a second season so that isn't a surprise.

According to that article in TV Guide, Daffy might be in Season 2.

I hope they will switched the sound effects companies (Advantage Audio) for the upcoming second season. Because the first season heavily used Hanna-Barbera sound effects which sound very out of place.

No offences, but in my opinion, what sound effects are used is the least of my concerns about this series.

I have done a petition to WBA so they can at least switch to a different sound effects company for future seasons of the show. Either it be DigiPost TV or Glenwood Editorial I don't mind, but it's that the show needs to change the sound effects to make it sound more like Looney Tunes instead of Hanna-Barbera or the Bill Hendricks/W7 Looney Tunes cartoons from the 60's.

Change Sound Effects in Wabbit: A Looney Tunes Production

Again, is the sound effects really that big of a deal?

For me it is, because I think the Hanna-Barbera sound effects belong to the actual H-B cartoons or knock-offs made by other animation studios (like the Filmation or Ruby-Spheres shows, Heathcliff, Garfield & Friends, Wander Over Yonder, and more). And most of the H-B SFX annoy me like that fall sound which is used so many times and I hate it!

Porky was mentioned in Dust Bugster, so that's something.

It seems that in Be Cool, Scooby Doo!, the characters design was made by Tom Ruegger.

Uhh.....Tom Ruegger is working for Disney now, and he was at Disney when this was in development.
