Tom Ruegger is producing The 7D for Disney.
Alias, The 7D also is being a big hit here in Brazil, where is broadcasted by Disney Channel.

The character designs were actually credited to Shakeh Haghnazarian and Todd Oman. So that makes them the Jessica Borutski of the Scooby-Doo franchise!
Come to think of it, I wonder how the Scooby gang would look designed by Jessica Borutski?

He's actually referring to "The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh" which Blustery Day was one of the shorts compiled.

You won't believe this, but Daffy and Porky are set to appear on Wabbit soon!

And yes, that is Dee Bradley Baker voicing Daffy...the first time in 20 years!

Why are they using the 1936 design (i.e. "The Blow Out") of Porky for the show?

I think it's to pay homage to "Porky's Duck Hunt".....

Porky didn't look THAT fat in that one.

Although I think Porky's redesign looks more like Porky's Poppa, I'm happy to see that the second season will be using the screwball Daffy from the 30's and 40's. And unlike most of the other characters that had ugly designs, Daffy's design looks pretty good here since he looks much like the character from the 40's Looney Tunes cartoons.
thanks 1 user thanked LuckyToon for this useful post.

Ugh... seriously, the best they can get for Daffy is every random fish character from Spongebob? Dee Bradley Baker is now more recognizable to me than Billy West and Tress MacNeille combined.

The show has been renamed "New Looney Tunes." It's gotten a new intro for its' second season, showcasing all the different characters that have appeared or are set to appear on the show...

Yosemite Sam has been recast to Fred Tatasciore. I guess the voice has been hard on Maurice LaMarche's throat again... (just like with Mel Blanc!) Pepe Le Pew is going to be voiced by Eric Bauza, from what I heard. Hope he can pull it off; I feel that with his Stimpy voice, at times it was pretty much indistinguishable from Billy West!

Look at the logo for "New LOONEY TUNES." The way it's colored reminds me a lot of the 1960s "Abstract" LT/MM opening logos. (An intentional decision due to the show resembling the Warner/Seven Arts cartoons?)

Oh, and according to Bob Bergen, the show has been renewed for a third season!

Just found some videos in the "related videos" section in the "New Looney Tunes" intro that wiley207 posted above advertising that the new episodes will be airing next month on Boomerang UK:

Aside from its terrible character animation still being present to the show (except for Daffy and sort of for Porky's designs), at least it's a step up from the first season of Wabbit. And the title change to New Looney Tunes actually make sense and to me is a more fitting title.

I still say Daffy's design in this show is passable for how it reassembles his design from the 30's and 40's, while Porky's designs mostly reassembles his Poppa's design from the black and white Looney Tunes of the 30's which is to me off model for the character (they could of given him Clampett's thin Porky design from 1937-1938 or from 1939-1941 instead).

Another update; it's been done last year but has only been announced recently. Granny has been recast to... Candi Milo! I was actually surprised by that. I thought for sure that Grey DeLisle-Griffin, Warner's go-to voice actress, would be voicing Granny. I sure hope Candi can pull it off.
(My favorite role of hers is the Little Red Riding Hood from "2 Stupid Dogs." Maybe if Warner brings back the Red from "Little Red Riding Rabbit," Candi can voice her too? They're both annoying, loud-mouthed, dimwitted and bespectacled takes on the character.)
